(Original drawing - 7 Dec; Touching-up, Redrawing, Colouring - 9-11 Dec)
... I have sooooooooo many things I could say about this (including how Akizuki was mistaken for a girl in school uniform by my aunt)...
But I won't.
Although I'll just mention that I didn't refer to the actual designs very much; as such
1. Kanna's frills are improvised
2. Kakunojou's clothes + hairstyle are greatly simplified and I also know thanks to Ori that
3. Akizuki is holding his sword in the wrong hand OTL
I did it in this order, Akizuki -> Kanna -> Soutetsu -> Kakunojou.
A pity Akizuki turned out looking the worst despite him being my favourite character. ;(
Oh, and I kept listening to these two songs when doing the Kanna picture: strangers by Raj Ramayya (Wolf's Rain OST I) and BLACK SHELL by Akino Arai (Sora no Niwa).
To understand the freaking ton of Alternative Versions down here, just understand that Blacker refers to the outlines, and Simple/Simpler refers to the colouring (Simple = No special effects, Simpler = No shadows).
The background has been omitted from all except "Large" versions.
Alternative versions:
Original inked drawing scanned in
Soutetsu : Large (700 x 780) | Blacker | Simple | Simpler | Simple + blacker | Simpler + blacker Lines only
Kakunojou : Large (700 x 780) | Blacker | Simple | Simpler | Simple + blacker | Simpler + blacker | Lines only
Akizuki : Large (700 x 780) | Blacker | Simple | Simpler | Simple + blacker | Simpler + blacker | Lines only
Kanna : Large (700 x 780) | Slightly darker | Darker | Black | Simple | Simple + Slightly darker | Simple + Darker | Simple + Black | Lines only |
Because for some reason I liked how Kanna turned out (though you may disagree of course, with that nose...) I made a separate set for Kanna in "Simplest" version...
This is my most favourite, "Black" (that is the darkest).
There are variations in the lines only. I like them all for different reasons so I decided to be superfluous and uploaded them all...
Alternative versions: Light | Slightly darker | Darker | Slightly Less Black (very subtle difference from the one up there! Can you spot where?) | Different Kind of Black
